In a nutshell
We are looking for a Service Team Leader to supervise and develop a team of up to 10 Press Brake Service Technicians, with a 50/50 split between leadership responsibilities and hands-on engineering duties.

What you will be doing
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of field service technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Balance team leadership with hands-on engineering duties (approx. 50/50 split).
- Drive service quality improvements and initiatives to enhance customer experience and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Engage with stakeholders to assess team performance, identify training needs, and develop technical and soft skills.
- Act as an ambassador for Bystronic, ensuring our values and standards are reflected in every customer interaction.
Your education & experience
- Background in engineering, ideally with experience in CNC machinery, sheet metal, or similar industries.
- Previous experience in a team leader, supervisory, or mentoring role within a technical service environment.
- Strong track record of hands-on service engineering, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

- Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer focus.
- Effective communication skills across all levels, from technicians to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with practical engineering duties.
What else you can bring to the table
- Experience working in an international or matrix organisation.
- Familiarity with lean service processes or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Press Brake machinery and bending technologies.
