What you will be doing

Business Partnership and Controlling:

• Take full ownership to drive the financial performance and results of the local company, based in Sweden with operations spanning six countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania), and to meet budgetary targets in collaboration with Senior Management.
• Drive initiatives such as profitability and net working capital improvements.
• Fully responsible for preparing all monthly and annual financial management reports for its local legal entity.
• Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in consultation with management guidance.
• Analyse financial figures and define corrective measures in collaboration with Senior Management and Global/Regional Finance.

Finance and accounting:

• Active business partnering with Senior Management, proactively strong in cost control, strategic insights and direction to the business.
• Ensuring full compliance with all financial and fiscal reporting requirements.
• Optimize and implement financial and tax strategies.
• Manage financing and investment requests and other resource requirements.

Team Lead:

• Lead the team towards high performance. Ensure the team delivers the highest standard of departmental and cross departmental teamwork and (internal) customer service.
• Perform personnel actions including performance reviews, salary recommendations, and ensuring appropriate training and development.

IT, vehicles and premises management:

• Collaborate with Bystronic Global IT and external IT vendors to support the smooth running of the IT infrastructure and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance and the efficient running of the premises of the local company.
• Mandate any third parties (facility managers, craftsmen, insurance companies etc.) and manages according to contracts.
• Ensure compliance with software licences and local IT support agreement.

Your education & experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
• Extensive experience and strong knowledge of SAP (including, but not limited to, FI/CO, SD, and CO-PA modules).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in general finance and accounting functions, preferably within the machinery or industrial sector.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading people.
• Good general understanding of legal and compliance matters.
• Fluency in English and Swedish required.
• Proven experience partnering with business leadership to provide proactive, insight-driven financial guidance.
