In a nutshell

As After Sales Business Developer you will contribute to deliver aftermarket strategy by identifying customers’ needs and promoting Bystronic solutions such as Bystronic Best Choice Care Programs Consumables and Parts, Training or 360 Advisors.

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for the achievement of after sales targets as agreed with local management and Bystronic service products portfolio in line with strategic service business unit.
  • Responsible for developing the relationship and revenue with inactive and lost customers.
  • Increase the revenue with all customers focusing on those with highest potential.
  • Lead and promote the Bystronic culture and values. Creates a positive and inclusive working environment for all team members.
  • Call and visit Bystronic customers in a consultancy role.
  • Support the machines sales with after sales portfolio.
  • Regular researches of local market potential, competitors, price levels in after sales business and reporting back to HQ Product Manager / Service Business Unit.
  • Develop local campaigns with HQ Product Management based upon market needs.
  • Support aftersales portfolio at Bystronic events.

Your education & experience

  • Proven track record in a competitive B2B sales environment, ideally 2-3years in a after sales role.
  • Familiarity with the machinery market, services as well as sales know-how in capital goods.
  • Customer focus and ability to balance client’s and own organisation’s needs to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills .
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
