The latest edition of the Bystronic World magazine is here! At more than 20 Experience Centers around the globe, Bystronic offers its customers a close-up experience of technology. In 2019, one of the largest and most modern Experience Centers will open its doors in the US, near Chicago. In this new edition of our customer magazine Bystronic World, we illustrate in detail how this benefits our customers. We also travel to Mexico and Belarus to report on innovative manufacturing companies.
Already in the 1990s, Bystronic operated a demo center at its headquarters in Niederönz. A great deal has changed since then: The demo centers are now called Experience Centers and for good reason: The customer should not only experience Bystronic technologies live in action, here customized solutions for the customers' specific requirements are developed. The Experience Centers also serve as training centers that meet global standards. Now customers no longer have to travel to Switzerland for training. With 20 locations worldwide, Bystronic is represented in the most important regional markets.

The Belarus countryside might not necessarily be where you would expect to find a leading retail outfitter. However, this is precisely where Modern Expo built a production plant in record time based on the very latest lean principles. In a factory building from the Soviet era, the retail outfitter is already today developing the shopping world of tomorrow.
In the Mexican city of Torreón, the entrepreneur Jorge De la Rosa manages his two companies EMYASA and STAM. His customer base includes big names such as Bombardier and Caterpillar. As a passionate meat eater, he decided to produce his own barbecue grills. In the meantime, these have become real bestsellers in the US. Once a month, he organizes a BBQ, and we looked over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of his barbecue skills.
