To support the team around Machine Vision, we are offering an interesting internship position at our location in Niederönz
Internship Machine Vision (60-100%)(6‑month duration, earliest start: June 2026)
What you will be doing
- Evaluating use cases in classical computer vision and machine learning
- Assessing the usability of industrial cameras in combination with our vision framework
- Prototype setup with one or more cameras in industrial environment, collect data
- Supporting data normalization workflows based on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
- Building the foundation for performance measurement and automated labeling in production
- Analyzing images using vision algorithms
- Documenting findings and results
What you should bring:
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, software engineering, or microtechnology (HF/FH/University)
- Solid software development skills (Python, C/C++, Windows and/or Linux)
- Experience with camera systems and image processing (OpenCV, HALCON) as well as machine learning
- Knowledge of MLOps is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills, creativity, and an innovative mindset
- Fluent in English and/or German
