News Highlights from FABTECH Canada 2018
This year, the Bystronic motto at the trade show was “Innovation”. In order to show Canadian sheet metal processing companies what the smart factory of the future will look like, Bystronic presented the software-cutting-bending process chain together with BySoft 7, ByCockpit, MES, and ByObserver monitoring systems. Press brake tooling and local services complete the product portfolio shown at FABTECH.
The innovative ByStar Fiber 3015 laser cutting machine with10kW Fiber power (designed 100% for fiber laser cutting) and the new Xpert 80 compact, ultra-high-speed portable press brake,received considerable interest from numerous visitors.
Attendees appreciated the open and inviting Bystronic booth and friendly interaction with the knowledgeable booth personnel on topics such as tube laser processing, and material handling automation.
Additional support was available from the consulting teams at Antil and TTM Laser. FABTECH Canada was the first local exhibition at which Bystronic offered attendees and customers the opportunity to gain first-hand, in-depth technical information about these new products.
