Over the course of four days, approximately 400 partners visited Bystronic's demo center in Tianjin. They saw the new generation of the Xact pressbrake, the new ByJin Fiber laser cutting system, and Bystronic China's new president.
New machines, a redesigned demo center, a new president – in autumn 2014, much is new at Bystronic China. In November, Bystronic's Chinese subsidiary opened its doors in order to present its new outfit at a four-day open house event in Tianjin. Approximately 400 partners accepted the invitation: customers from China, India, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan, numerous journalists, and representatives from industry associations.
On the almost 1,000 square meters of its demo center in Tianjin, Bystronic presented its know-how throughout the entire process chain. Besides machines, the focus was on the BySoft 7 software package. In addition, Bystronic China unveiled two innovations: the new generation of the Xact pressbrake with the ByVision Bending operating software and the ByJin Fiber, a fiber laser cutting system that is specifically designed for the requirements of the Asian market.
"Many of our customers in China are ready to venture into foreign markets. In cooperation with our development teams in Switzerland and Germany, our engineers in China develop machines that are tailored primarily to the markets in Asia," emphasized Stefan Gilch, the new President of Bystronic China.
