Power Cut Fiber: Upgrade and take off

High quality cuts in sheet thicknesses up to 30 millimeters: This is possible thanks to the Power Cut Fiber option, which Bystronic is now also offering for the BySprint Fiber laser cutting system.

To date, high-quality cuts in stainless steel using a fiber laser cutting system were limited to a maximum sheet thickness of 15 millimeters. With the new Power Cut Fiber function, users can now achieve extremely fine cutting quality with material thicknesses up to 30 millimeters.

Power Cut Fiber also increases the previously maximum range of thicknesses that can be processed with applications in non-ferrous metals, aluminum and mild steel. With Power Cut Fiber, users can cut brass up to a thickness of 15 millimeters, mild steel up to 25 millimeters and aluminum up to 30 millimeters, and all this in impressive quality.

This opens up new possibilities for fiber laser cutting with the BySprint Fiber – for example for cuts in thick materials, when the finish plays an important role.

The Power Cut Fiber option is available on the BySprint Fiber 3015 and the BySprint Fiber 4020 with a minimum of 6 kilowatts.
